This answers my question. There are no swim sessions tonight.

Senior Challenge.

If you’re looking for a challenge this year. Come join the Dunbar Dolphins at Foxlake. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Another opportunity for the parents of our senior swimmers to get those parent kudos ratings up!! 🙌

It’s not only our swimmers who love a challenge...................so today we are joining team Leitch to send support to our amazing coach Brian who is running in the Boston Marathon tomorrow.

We would like to wish him good luck from all at Dunbar Dolphins.

As you know we try our best to make sure that our swimmers are given the chance to have their say in what happens in the club.

At the start of last term our swimmers asked if we could organise a bring a parent to club night, visit the aquadash, introduce a way of recognising their achievements and introduce more fitness into our Senior program.

We listened to them and had several parents join us in the pool for a coaching session with their child, the committee have organised a trip to the aquadash for end of May and our new Star Swimmer Awards have given us the chance to give the swimmers a reward for their hard work.

The fitness sessions have taken a bit of organising and we have interviewed 3 potential fitness instructors for the Senior swimmers to try some sessions to work on improving their land based fitness.

On Monday 29th April we will be running a session from 7pm - 8pm where they will be given the opportunity to work with these instructors.

Each instructor will deliver a 20 minute fitness session and at the end the swimmers will choose who they would like to work with.
This will then lead to a further 4 week trial with the aim of introducing this into our weekly sessions after the summer break.

More info will be emailed out next week.

If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate contact us.
